Senior Backend Engineer – Python

with robust experience in designing and building scalable, high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing robust APIs, microservices, real-time systems, and production-grade backend services.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python.Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.Implement real-time communication systems using WebSockets.Design reliable and high-performance backend architectures.Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and caching systems.Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize production systems.Implement monitoring and performance-tuning strategies.Write clean, maintainable, well-tested,



and production-ready code.Collaborate with frontend and cross-functional teams for end-to-end product delivery.Contribute to system design and distributed systems initiatives.Required Qualifications6+ years of software engineering/backend development experience.Strong proficiency in Python.Hands-on experience developing REST APIs and microservices.Strong understanding of WebSockets and real-time backend integrations.Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and caching mechanisms.Strong understanding of distributed systems fundamentals.Experience building scalable and highly available backend applications.Strong debugging, performance optimization, and production-support skills.Good understanding of software development, testing, and engineering best practices.Preferred QualificationsExperience working on large-scale, high-availability backend systems.Experience with cloud-based backend architectures.Exposure to performance optimization and monitoring of production services.
