Director of Admissions / Registrar / PrincipalJob Summary:The Admission Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end admission process, driving student enrollment targets, managing the admissions team, and ensuring a smooth, positive experience for prospective students and their families from inquiry to enrollment.Key Responsibilities:Plan, implement, and manage the annual admission strategy and enrollment targetsHandle inquiries from prospective students/parents via calls, emails, walk-ins, and online forms; ensure timely follow-up and conversionOversee the complete admission cycle — counseling, documentation, fee collection, and enrollment confirmationLead, train, and monitor the performance of admission counselors/executivesOrganize and participate in open houses, education fairs, school/college visits, and other outreach eventsCoordinate with the marketing team to plan admission campaigns, digital promotions, and lead generation activitiesMaintain and analyze admission data/MIS reports (inquiry-to-admission ratio, source-wise conversion, etc.)Ensure compliance with institutional policies, regulatory norms,



and accreditation requirementsAddress parent/student grievances related to admissions professionally and promptlyCoordinate with academic departments for eligibility criteria, seat availability, and entrance test/interview processesPrepare and present periodic admission reports to senior managementRequired Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's/Master's degree (MBA preferred, especially in Marketing or Administration)3–7 years of experience in admissions, counseling, or education sales, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory roleStrong communication, interpersonal, and counseling skillsTarget-driven with proven sales/conversion track recordProficiency in CRM tools, MS Office/Excel, and admission management softwareLeadership and team management abilityGood understanding of the education sector and admission regulationsKey Competencies:Customer/student-centric approachData-driven decision makingMultitasking and deadline managementNegotiation and persuasion skills
