Job Type: Full-time

This is a full-time, remote Project Manager role at dhoop. The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end planning and execution of projects that centre on food, sustainability, and culture, coordinating timelines, resources, and deliverables. Day-to-day tasks include managing project schedules, tracking milestones, and ensuring efficient communication among internal teams, collaborators, and external vendors. The role involves coordinating logistics, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and conducting basic inspections or quality checks on deliverables to maintain project standards. The Project Manager will also document project outcomes, prepare status reports, and support continuous improvement of processes and workflows.Issue production and editorial workflowOwn the production calendar for each issue, from first drafts through edits, design and printTrack status across contributors, editors and designers, and flag what's falling behindCoordinate final-stage tasks: style guide compliance, proofing rounds and print-readiness checksTeam and freelancer coordinationKeep the wider Dhoop team and freelance contributors aligned on deadlines and deliverablesMaintain weekly status reports across active workstreamsFacilitate communication between contributors so nothing stalls waiting on a replyDistribution and partner relationsManage relationships with stockists and distribution partnersCoordinate shipping, logistics and restocking for print distributionRespond to new stockist and partnership inquiries,



and follow up on open conversationsOperations, finance and adminSupport budgeting and tracking of studio costs, invoices and vendor paymentsManage day-to-day studio operations and keep things running on scheduleAssist with hiring and onboarding as the team growsNew businessRespond to current business and collaboration inquiries, schedule calls and send remindersMaintain and update Dhoop's decks and one-pagersHelp prepare proposals and costings for partnerships and brand collaborationsCreative production and cultureHelp source, collect and organise research for upcoming issues and projectsSupport the planning and running of workshops, events and shootsProofread decks, guidelines and outward-facing materialsBring in industry trends, best practices and ideas relevant to Dhoop's workTrack and reach out to publications, festivals and awards worth applying toWho we're looking forExperience in project or studio management, ideally at a small creative, editorial or design-led organisationStrong organisational instincts — comfortable holding multiple threads (editorial, ops, partnerships) at onceClear, proactive communicator who can coordinate people across time zones and follow up without being chasedComfortable with budgets, vendor coordination and the unglamorous admin that keeps a small studio functionalGenuine interest in independent publishing, food culture or design is a strong plusSend your resume and a short note on why you're a fit to
