- Operate shot blasting machines safely and efficiently.
- Prepare components and equipment for blasting as per production requirements.
- Ensure surface cleanliness standards such as SA 2, SA 2.5, and SA 3 are achieved.
- Load and unload materials using appropriate handling equipment.
- Monitor blasting media condition and replenish as required.
- Inspect blasted surfaces for quality and conformity to specifications.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance activities.
- Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets.
- Maintain records of blasting operations and material usage.
- Adhere to safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with Quality, Production, and Painting departments.
- Report equipment malfunctions and quality issues to supervisors immediately.

Required Qualifications

- ITI (Fitter/Welder/Turner/Mechanic)



or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in shot blasting, sand blasting, or surface preparation operations.
- Knowledge of surface treatment standards and industrial painting requirements.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions.

Experience
