Role & responsibilities

8 to 10 years of experience in Designing of Transmission and Axle aggregates for Tractors / off highway vehicles / Automotive Transmission Design

Knowledge on design of Gears, shafts, housings, synchronizers, bevel gears, Planetary is required.

Should have knowledge on Material selection & Heat treatment process.

Knowledge on fixing of gear ratios for driveline based on vehicle performance/Requirements.

Should be strong in Engineering calculations & Analytical skills.

Should have worked on gear shifting systems on rails/forks and other parts.

Should have knowledge on Bearing Life prediction & Seals selection.

Understanding of Tractor application & its Design requirement is preferred.

Should have worked on Tolerance stacking of transmission aggregates.

Should have worked on problem resolution in driveline aggregates with production / field concerns etc.,

Positive understanding of DFMEA / DFM / DFA is required.

Knowledge in transmission lubrication system, is preferred

Experience in transmission drivelines like power shuttle, CVT, AMT, EV transmissions preferred.

Experience on driveline/ vehicle testing & DAQ will be an added advantage.
