We are looking for a Linux DevOps Developer responsible for managing Linux-based infrastructure, deployment pipelines, application releases, monitoring, automation, and production support. The role will work closely with development and technical teams to improve application reliability, scalability, security, and deployment efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux servers and production environments.
- Deploy and configure web applications and backend services.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
- Automate repetitive infrastructure and deployment tasks using Shell/Bash or Python.
- Manage source-code repositories using Git.
- Monitor server/application performance, logs, CPU, memory, disk, and network utilization.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Configure and maintain Nginx/Apache, application servers, and related services.
- Manage backups, disaster-recovery procedures, and system availability.
- Implement security practices such as patching, access control, SSH hardening, and secrets management.
- Work with developers to troubleshoot deployment and environment-related issues.
- Support cloud infrastructure and virtualization where applicable.
- Maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures.
Required Technical Skills
- Solid hands-on knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu/CentOS/RHEL.
- Bash/Shell scripting.
- Git/GitHub/GitLab.
- CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or similar.
- Docker and container management.
- Basic to intermediate Kubernetes knowledge.
- Nginx/Apache.
- Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, SSH.
- Database basics, particularly MySQL/PostgreSQL/SQL Server.
- Monitoring and logging tools.
- Troubleshooting of application and infrastructure issues.
- Understanding of AWS/Azure/GCP is desirable.
Preferred Skills
- Terraform or Ansible.
- Kubernetes administration.
- AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch and IAM.
- Prometheus/Grafana.
- ELK/EFK or similar logging systems.
- Python automation.
- SSL/TLS and Linux security.
- High-availability and load-balancing concepts.
