Role & responsibilities

- Diagnose and troubleshoot laptop hardware and software issues.
- Install and configure Windows operating systems and required drivers.
- Perform OS troubleshooting, system formatting, software installation, and basic configuration.
- Troubleshoot common issues related to boot failure, blue screen, overheating, slow performance, and system crashes.
- Perform laptop testing and quality checks after repair.
- Follow standard repair, testing, and safety procedures.
- Maintain proper records of devices received, repaired, tested, and dispatched.
- Escalate complex hardware or motherboard-level issues to senior engineers.
- Ensure assigned devices are completed within the defined turnaround time (TAT).
- Handle laptops and components carefully to prevent physical or ESD-related damage.

Preferred candidate profile





- Basic knowledge of computer/laptop hardware.
- Understanding of Windows operating systems.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues.
- Knowledge of RAM, SSD/HDD, motherboard, processor, battery, display, keyboard, and other laptop components.
- Basic knowledge of device drivers and BIOS/UEFI.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to identify hardware faults using standard troubleshooting methods.
- Basic knowledge of networking such as LAN, Wi-Fi, IP address, and connectivity troubleshooting is an advantage.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
