We are looking for a FinOps Analyst / Engineer to support cloud financial management, cost optimization, governance, and financial transparency across the organization's cloud environment. The role will work closely with technology, finance, and business stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve cloud cost visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyse cloud spending and usage.
- Analyse cloud consumption trends and identify cost drivers.
- Identify unused, underutilized, and unnecessary cloud resources.
- Develop and implement cloud cost optimization recommendations.
- Establish and maintain cloud resource tagging standards.
- Support cloud expenditure forecasting and financial planning.
- Assist with budgeting, cost allocation, and chargeback/showback processes.
- Prepare and maintain FinOps reports and KPIs.
- Develop dashboards and reports to provide cloud cost visibility.
- Collaborate with engineering, finance,
and business teams on cloud cost management.
- Support the implementation of cloud financial governance processes.
- Track savings initiatives and measure the impact of optimization activities.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, Cloud Financial Management, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cost Explorer.
- Good understanding of AWS cloud services and their cost structures.
- Understanding of FinOps principles and practices.
- Experience with cloud cost optimization and governance.
- Strong skills in reporting, data analysis, and financial analytics.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI or similar BI/reporting tools.
- Solid stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
