We are looking for a React & TypeScript Developer with strong hands-on experience building scalable, data-intensive web applications and enterprise-grade user interfaces. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in React, TypeScript, state management, data visualization, API integration, and up-to-date frontend architecture.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. 4+ years of hands-on React development in production environments
2. Strong TypeScript proficiency — interfaces, generics, discriminated unions, strict mode
3. Deep understanding of React component lifecycle, hooks (useState, useEffect, useRef, useMemo, useCallback, useReducer), and custom hook patterns
4. Experience building large-scale SPAs with 50+ components and multi-level routing
5. Familiarity with React 18+ features including concurrent rendering and Suspense
6. State Management & Data Flow
7. Production experience with at least one of: Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Recoil, or Jotai
8. Experience with server-state libraries: React Query (TanStack Query) or SWR
9. Ability to design cross-component state orchestration where a single user action (e.g. filter change, map click, table row selection) cascades updates across 8–12 independent panels on the same page
10. URL-based state serialisation (deep-linkable filter combinations, shareable console URLs)
11. Data Visualization & Charting
12.
Hands-on experience with D3.js — bindingdata to SVG/Canvas, scales, axes, transitions
13. Experience building at least one bespoke/custom visualization beyond standard chart types (e.g. Sankey diagram, node-link graph, heatmap grid, interactive floor plan, tree/genealogy diagram)
14. Familiarity with charting libraries: Recharts, Victory, Chart.js, or Nivo
15. Ability to implement interactive chart behaviours: click-to-drill, hover tooltips with rich content, zoom/pan, cross-chart brushing
16. API Integration & Real-Time Data
17. Experience consuming RESTful APIs and rendering server-driven data in React components
18. Understanding of WebSocket or SSE (Server-Sent Events) for real-time/near-real-time UI updates
19. Experience handling loading, error, empty, and degraded states gracefully across data-driven panels
20. Familiarity with optimistic updates, polling strategies, and cache invalidation patterns
21. Styling & Theming
22. Proficiency in CSS-in-JS (Styled Components, Emotion) or CSS Modules or Tailwind CSS
23. Experience implementing dark-themed, data-dense enterprise UIs with consistent design tokens
24. Ability to build responsive layouts (desktop-first, down to ~1100px) without a pre-built UI framework (no Material UI / Ant Design — all components are custom)
