Purpose/Objective

To lead and optimize Cell Process operations within the Solar Manufacturing Cell & Module business, ensuring achievement of production targets, process efficiency, quality standards, yield improvement, cost optimization, and protected manufacturing practices.
The role focuses on driving operational excellence, continuous process improvement, and technological advancements in solar cell manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Manage and oversee solar cell manufacturing processes to achieve production, quality, and yield targets.
- Monitor process parameters and implement corrective actions to maintain stable and efficient operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce losses, and optimize manufacturing costs.
- Analyze process data, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for process enhancement.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements across the manufacturing process.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Technology teams for seamless operations.
- Lead troubleshooting activities related to process deviations, equipment performance, and product quality issues.
- Support new process implementation,



technology upgrades, and scale-up activities.
- Ensure compliance with EHS guidelines and promote a safe working culture within the department.
- Mentor and develop team members, driving capability building and performance improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications: B.

Tech in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering.
Experience: - 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing/process operations, preferably in Solar Cell Manufacturing, Semiconductor, Electronics, or High-Tech Manufacturing industries.
- Experience in process optimization, yield improvement, SPC, RCA, FMEA, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding of solar cell manufacturing processes, process control systems, quality management, and production excellence.
- Proven experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
- Knowledge of EHS standards, compliance requirements, and industrial safety practices.
