About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the complete Finance & Accounts function across Sumo Group. The CFO will provide strategic financial leadership and ensure robust financial control, profitability, compliance and sustainable business growth across Technology, Real Estate and Hospitality businesses.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Group-wide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and MIS.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury and banking relationships.
- Oversee accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, audits and internal controls.
- Monitor business/project-wise profitability, costs and financial performance.
- Evaluate investments, projects, funding requirements and business opportunities.
- Establish strong financial governance, policies, processes and controls.
- Drive cost optimisation and financial efficiency across all Group companies.




- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the Board / Managing Director.
- Lead, mentor and develop the Group Finance & Accounts team.
- Ensure financial systems, reporting and processes are continuously improved and automated.

Candidate Profile

- CA with 10+ years of finance experience, including senior leadership exposure.
- Strong experience in financial strategy, FP&A;, taxation, treasury, audit and business finance.
- Experience managing finance for multiple companies / diversified business groups is preferred.
- Exposure to Real Estate, IT/Technology, Leasing/Rental and Hospitality will be an advantage.
- Strong commercial acumen, leadership, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
