Job Description : Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for EQX platform features
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across multiple application layers
- Test React-based web applications (eqx-ui, eqx-ui-agent, eqx-ui-vendor) for functionality, usability, and cross-browser compatibility
- Validate REST APIs and backend services (Node.js/Express, Java/Spring Boot)
- Execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and verify database operations (SQL Server)
- Collaborate with developers to identify, document, and track defects through resolution
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
- Contribute to test automation efforts using Jest, React Testing Library, or similar frameworks
- Support UAT coordination with business stakeholders and clients
- Review requirements and provide early feedback on testability and edge cases

Required Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance




- Experience testing web applications (React, Angular, or similar frontend frameworks)
- Experience testing REST APIs using tools like Postman, Insomnia, or similar
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and test data setup (SQL Server preferred)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA preferred)
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Good to Have

- Experience with test automation (Jest, Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright)
- Experience testing Node.js/Express or Java/Spring Boot backend services
- Experience testing ColdFusion applications
- Experience in mortgage/real estate or financial services domain
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and version control (Git/Bitbucket)
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6)
- Understanding of accessibility testing (WCAG compliance)
- Experience testing AI/ML features or integrations
