Job Summary
Lead Product Cyber Security Engineer I responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive cybersecurity program for Radiometer's Digital Solutions portfolio, which comprises web-based applications and Hybrid cloud platforms (Azure). In this role, you will act as a trusted security partner to the Digital Solutions team, ensuring that security is embedded throughout the product lifecycle, from architecture and design to development, deployment, and operations to safeguard digital products and customer data.
This position reports to the RD Cybersecurity team manager and is part of the Cybersecurity team located in IDC, Bangalore and will be an onsite role.
Responsibilities
- Embed Security by Design Across the Product Lifecycle: Drive the adoption of Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL/SSDLC) practices across the organization through education, stakeholder engagement, and the development of cybersecurity processes and implementation of security tools.
- Strengthen Cloud and Application Security Posture: Serve as the Cloud/Application security subject matter expert (SME), responsible for threat detection, security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and security risk remediation activities for Web Cloud platforms.
- Reduce Cybersecurity Risk Through Automation and Governance: Leverage cloud-native security technologies, security automation, continuous monitoring, and risk-based remediation strategies to improve security maturity and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- a) Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity,
Software Engineering, or a related field.
- b) Minimum of 6+ years of experience in a technical cybersecurity role, including at least 4 years of hands-on experience securing Azure cloud environments.
- c) Proven ability to conduct security architecture reviews, perform threat modeling, and influence design decisions for cloud and application platforms, ensuring scalable, resilient, and secure solutions aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- d) Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure security solutions, including Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Security Center, Azure Web Application Firewall (WAF), Azure Policy, and other Azure-native security capabilities, or equivalent third-party solutions such as Palo Alto Prisma Cloud, Barracuda WAF, or similar platforms.
- e) Experience implementing and managing application security testing tools, including Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Energetic Application Security Testing (DAST), and Software Composition Analysis (SCA) solutions.
Nice to have
- a). Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) or equivalent cloud security certification. Additional security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or related certifications are desirable.
