Job Summary:
We are looking for a Storage & Backup Engineer , to provide in office support for tape library and storage infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and troubleshoot Tape Library, tape drives, robotics, CAPs and cartridges.
- Handle tape cartridge inventory, loading/unloading and media management.
- Troubleshoot tape drive, robotics, media and FC/SAN connectivity issues.
- Perform daily health checks, preventive maintenance and library housekeeping.
- Coordinate with OEM/vendor, Storage and Backup teams for incident resolution.
- Maintain incident tickets, daily reports and SLA compliance.





Required Skills:

- Hands-on experience with Oracle StorageTek SL8500 / SL3000 / SL500.
- Knowledge of LTO Tape Libraries, Tape Drives and ACSLS.
- Basic knowledge of SAN/Fibre Channel and enterprise backup environments.
- Experience with NetBackup / IBM TSM / Spectrum Protect / Commvault will be an advantage.
- Good troubleshooting and data-center support skills.

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / MCA or equivalent.

Relevant Experience: Minimum 3 years in Tape Library / Storage
