Shift: 2 PM to 11 PM IST

Key Responsibilities:

We have a large library of software containing Engineering methods that must be enhanced and maintained for revised design rules and operating systems. We are integrating existing programs with updated user interfaces, SQL database technology, and CAD and ERP systems. The existing code structure and language may need to be maintained because complete rewrites of the code do not meet deadlines or budgets.

The position involves participation in the following activities:

- Learning client product development methodology and automating it with software. The primary programming languages are VB.NET, C#, Office VBA, and FORTRAN.
- Assist with planning the engineering software roadmap and future system platform.
- Maintaining and updating existing programs to contemporary design rules and operating systems.
- Documenting existing programs from the standpoint of user guides and programmer documentation.
- Creating and maintaining databases to store engineering data for components (SQL).




- Combining internal software expert systems with product design software (primarily SolidWorks and DDM).
- Training and support coaching others in the use of our proprietary engineering and commercial design software

Required Qualifications:

- 5 years of experience with scientific computer programming, writing recent and maintaining existing programs in WinForms, WPF, and C#.
- Able to read and interpret programs written in FORTRAN, Visual Basic, and .NET.
- Excellent oral and written communication and people skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and its automation.
- Works well in a multidiscipline environment and coordinates tasks with peers.
- Experience in developing and maintaining project plans and timelines for software development.

Preferred (Not Required):

- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Familiarity with Cursor and GitHub AI
- 1 year of experience with applied engineering in industrial applications, gear design a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stay on track for required completion dates.
