Quality Assurance Engineer - EQX Platform ( Java + Agentic AI + Automated testing mandatory)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join the EQX team, responsible for ensuring the

quality and reliability of our next-generation real estate asset management platform. The EQX platform

serves mortgage servicers, lenders, and GSEs managing REO properties, short sales, and vendor workows.

You will work closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality

software across React frontends, Node.js backends, and Java microservices.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for EQX platform features

Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across multiple application layers

Test React-based web applications (eqx-ui, eqx-ui-agent, eqx-ui-vendor) for functionality, usability, and

cross-browser compatibility

Validate REST APIs and backend services (Node.js/Express, Java/Spring Boot)

Execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and verify database operations (SQL Server)

Collaborate with developers to identify, document, and track defects through resolution

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives

Contribute to test automation e orts using Jest, React Testing Library, or similar frameworks

Support UAT coordination with business stakeholders and clients

Review requirements and provide early feedback on testability and edge cases.

Required Qualications

3+ years of experience in software quality assurance

Experience testing web applications (React, Angular, or similar frontend frameworks)

Experience testing REST APIs using tools like Postman,



Insomnia, or similar

Pro ciency in SQL for data validation and test data setup (SQL Server preferred)

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA preferred)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Valuable to Have

Experience with test automation (Jest, Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright)

Experience testing Node.js/Express or Java/Spring Boot backend services

Experience testing ColdFusion applications

Experience in mortgage/real estate or nancial services domain

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and version control (Git/Bitbucket)

Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6)

Understanding of accessibility testing (WCAG compliance)

Experience testing AI/ML features or integrations
