Role & responsibilities
Demonstrate clinical competence in all aspects of patient care.
- Evaluate the quality and appropriateness of care and assess the impact of
nursing intervention as appropriate.
- Assessment and reassessment of pain and management of pain.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures for medication
management.
- Explain the plan of care to the patient and family.
- Document all patient records as per policies and standards.
- Educate patient and family as required and involvement of the patient family,
and significant others in the patient's care.• Administration of
intra-venous, intra-muscular,
intradermal,
and
subcutaneous injections.
- Management of blood and body fluids, HAZMAT spills.
- Knowledge of the blood drawing protocols and collection of reports.
- Demonstrate knowledge of nursing care plans and their documentation.
Preferred candidate profile
Proficiency in verbal communication English and Kannada/Hindi. Any local
language proficiency is an added advantage.
- Qualification: GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, M.Sc. Nursing.
- Experience – 0 to 2 Years.
- Registered with Karnataka State Nursing Council and hold a valid certificate
as of date.
- Knowledge of nursing principles, techniques, and procedures for the
delivery of effective patient care.
- Be proactive, punctual, and empathetic.
- Able to work accurately and with minimal supervision.
- Valuable organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to plan & organize one’s work schedule effectively.
