Role Overview: looking for an experienced Embedded Camera Software Engineer to join our system engineering team. The candidate should have hands-on experience in camera sensor bring-up, camera driver development, multi-camera systems, GMSL SerDes integration, and embedded software development on TI TDA4-based platforms.

The role involves debugging camera control software, integrating image sensors and GMSL serializer/deserializer devices, supporting camera pipeline bring-up, ISP tuning & validation.

Key Responsibilities:

Integrate camera drivers and camera control software for automotive vision applications.

Perform image sensor bring-up, configuration, and debugging on TI TDA4-based SoCs.

Work on single-camera and multi-camera applications.

Integrate and debug camera sensors with GMSL2 serializer/deserializer infrastructure.

Configure and debug GMSL/FPD Link serializers and deserializers,

Develop and debug I2C & SPI-based sensor drivers.

Perform camera streaming, configuration, link-validation, and stability debugging.

Perform board-level validation.

Collaborate with respective cross-functional teams to resolve camera bring-up and integration issues.

Analyze and debug issues across the camera sensor, MIPI, SerDes, FPD Link I2C, SoC, and software pipeline.

Required Skills:

Embedded Software -





Good programming experience in Embedded C/C++.

Good understanding of embedded systems and firmware development.

Hands-on experience with QNX RTOS.

Understanding of Linux/RTOS concepts and embedded debugging.

Camera & Automotive Vision -

Hands-on experience with camera sensor bring-up and driver integration.

Experience with single-camera and multi-camera systems.

Understanding of camera pipelines and image sensor configuration.

Experience debugging camera streaming and stability issues.

Exposure to automotive camera/surround-view applications is preferred.

GMSL / SerDes -

Experience integrating camera sensors over GMSL/GMSL2.

Working knowledge of GMSL & FPD Link serializers and deserializers.

Valuable understanding of SerDes link configuration and validation.

Interfaces & Testing -

Good understanding of I2C, SPI and embedded peripheral interfaces.

Experience with board-level hardware/software bring-up.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of automotive camera systems.

Experience working with automotive-grade image sensors.

Experience with TI Processor SDK / TDA4 camera frameworks is a plus.

Understanding of CSI-2 and camera interface architecture.

Exposure to ISP tuning & validation for automotive camera systems is a plus.
