About the Company:
Fabtech Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is engaged in heavy fabrication and engineering manufacturing with expertise in structural fabrication, crane manufacturing, industrial projects, and heavy steel structures. We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager to lead and streamline our manufacturing operations.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Production Manager with strong exposure to heavy fabrication and engineering industries. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in crane manufacturing, wind mill/tower fabrication, bridge structures, PEB projects, and welding operations.

The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end production activities, ensuring timely execution of projects, maintaining quality standards, optimizing resources, and leading shop floor operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage complete production operations for fabrication and manufacturing activities.

- Plan, organize, and execute production schedules as per project requirements and delivery timelines.

- Supervise fabrication, welding, assembly, fit-up, and erection-related activities on the shop floor.

- Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machinery, raw materials, and consumables.

- Monitor production targets, productivity, and operational efficiency on a daily basis.

- Coordinate with Design, QA/QC, Purchase, Planning, and Project departments for smooth workflow and execution.

- Ensure adherence to welding standards, fabrication procedures, and quality requirements.

- Maintain production reports, shift reports, daily progress records, and material consumption data.





- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions for process improvement.

- Ensure implementation of safety standards, housekeeping, and disciplined shop floor practices.

- Handle workforce management, including supervisors, welders, fitters, and fabrication teams.

- Minimize rework, rejection, downtime, and production delays.

- Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining required quality standards.

Required Skills & Expertise:

- Strong experience in heavy fabrication and engineering manufacturing industry.

- Hands-on experience in:

- Crane Manufacturing

- Wind Mill / Tower Structure Fabrication

- Bridge Structure Fabrication

- PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) Projects

- Heavy Steel Structure Manufacturing

- Excellent knowledge of welding processes, fabrication drawings, structural fabrication, and shop floor management.

- Familiarity with production planning, material management, and manpower handling.

- Ability to lead large fabrication teams and achieve production targets efficiently.

- Solid problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.

- Knowledge of safety practices and quality control systems preferred.

Education/Qualification
