Senior Manager - SCM

The Senior Manager - SCM will oversee procurement, vendor development, logistics, and inventory management to ensure smooth supply chain operations. The role includes team leadership, end-to-end coordination of materials movement, cost control, and contributing to strategic discussions with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement procurement and supply chain strategies.
- Monitor supplier performance on delivery, quality, and cost.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain solid vendor relationships.
- Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, shipping, and documentation.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels and materials availability.
- Identify risks and opportunities in the supply chain to improve efficiency.
- Maintain procurement and logistics documentation (POs, GRNs, Invoices, etc.).




- Drive sustainable sourcing and compliance with industry standards.
- Lead and mentor the SCM team to meet department KPIs.
- Participate in management-level meetings for strategic supply chain decisions.

Desired Skills

- End-to-end SCM knowledge: procurement, logistics, inventory.
- ERP system proficiency (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Excellent negotiation, vendor management skills.
- Ability to manage cost, quality, and delivery simultaneously.
- Experience in aerospace/defense manufacturing is a strong advantage.

Qualifications

B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering

10-15+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics roles
