Qualifications
- PhD/MD or equivalent qualification in Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Pathology or a related discipline
- Experience: Positive record of research publications and demonstrated research experience.
- Experience in one or more areas of cancer biology, molecular biology, immunology, biomarkers, tumor microenvironment or translational research
Desirable Experience
- Experience in spatial biology/spatial transcriptomics, multiplex imaging, tumor microenvironment research, translational cancer research, or clinical research will be an advantage.
Expected Outcomes
The candidate will be expected to develop an independent research program, obtain competitive funding, publish quality research, mentor young researchers, build collaborations, and contribute to strengthening the Division s capabilities in molecular and translational cancer research.

Position Summary
The Assistant Professor will contribute to the Division s research, teaching and academic activities, with a focus on molecular and translational medicine, cancer biology, biomarkers and the tumor microenvironment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and pursue an independent research program in cancer biology, molecular signaling, biomarkers, tumor microenvironment or related areas.
- Design and conduct laboratory and translational research using appropriate molecular, cellular, immunological and clinical approaches.
- Develop research proposals and seek competitive research funding.
- Publish high-quality research in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at scientific meetings.
- Develop national and international collaborations and contribute to multidisciplinary research programs.
- Contribute to establishing and strengthening research capabilities in spatial biology, tumor microenvironment and related technologies.
- Teach and participate in seminars, workshops and other academic activities of the Division.
- Guide and mentor PhD scholars, postgraduate students and research staff.
- Contribute to the overall academic and research development of the Division and the institution.
