Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical/product components using SolidWorks / AutoCAD.
- Perform design analysis, including tolerance and stress analysis.
- Apply GD&T; principles for drawings and manufacturing requirements.
- Prepare and review 2D drawings, 3D models, BOMs and design documentation.
- Conduct DFMEA and support DFM/DFA activities.
- Support APQP activities throughout the product development cycle.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams for machining, fabrication and welding requirements.
- Support prototype development, testing and design validation.
- Identify design issues and implement necessary design improvements and modifications.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and Suppliers.
