As our new Senior Engineer Pavements Desing, you will work with the team to deliver work in close collaboration with Ramboll colleagues based across the business. You will be part of the Aviation team in India. You will work as part of a lively team, filled with people who are really excited about creating the solutions for the future. Our team is vibrant, innovative, international, and supportive. You will collaborate with your colleagues to play a critical role in defining and delivering projects. Based on a strong future pipeline of work we are now looking to expand the team. The role requires an inquisitive mind, capable of developing creative and sustainable outcomes to support our clients.

Responsibilities

- Planning, design, managing and monitoring all activities related to aviation infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership for airside and landside infrastructure, including runways, taxiways, aprons, aircraft stands, terminal developments, ground support facilities,



airport access roads, utility networks, and supporting infrastructure systems.
- Develop and review airfield geometric layouts, airside pavements, grading and drainage systems, ensuring compliance with ICAO, FAA, EASA, IATA, and local aviation authority regulations.
- Client and stakeholder interactions, relationships and management.
- Prepare and develop a system wherein all activities are monitored and reported on a regular basis to ensure project deadlines.

Qualifications

- B.Tech / M.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Specialization in Transportation / Pavement Engineering preferred
- Minimum 6+ years in pavement design
- Experience in airport / airfield pavement projects preferred
- Strong familiarity with specialized pavement analysis tools, CAD, and civil design software.
- Experience of working towards contractors and attended to site related queries
- Knowledge of airport codes and standards is preferable
- Good analytical skills and problem-solving techniques
