Role & responsibilities

1.Project Quality Launch Excellence

- Ensure flawless quality readiness from development to Mass Production (MP).
- Deliver First Time Right (FTR) performance during trials, pilot runs, and SOP.

2. PPAP & Customer Approval

- Achieve 100% on-time PPAP approvals (PP1, PP2, PP3, MP) without rejections.
- Ensure adherence to all Honda quality and documentation requirements.

3. Zero Defect Manufacturing

- Establish a zero-defect culture through Poka-Yoke, preventive systems, and process capability improvement.
- Minimize internal rejection, rework, and line stoppages.

4. Quality System Deployment

- Implement end-to-end quality systems:
- Process Flow
- PFMEA
- Control Plan
- SOPs & Inspection Standards

- Ensure full IATF 16949 compliance in the Greenfield setup.

5. Inspection & Measurement System

- Establish incoming, in-process, and final inspection systems.
- Ensure MSA compliance and measurement accuracy with proper gauges and fixtures.

6. Customer Quality Performance

- Achieve targeted Customer PPM levels from SOP stage.
- Ensure zero major customer complaints during launch phase.





7. Supplier Quality Assurance

- Develop and stabilize supplier quality systems, including:
- Supplier audits
- Vendor PPAP approvals
- Incoming quality control

8. Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

- Drive structured problem solving using 8D, Why-Why, Fishbone analysis.
- Lead Kaizen, Lean, and COPQ reduction initiatives.

9. Process Control & Stability

- Ensure robust process control across:
- Press Shop
- Weld Shop
- Surface Coating

- Maintain high process capability (Cp/Cpk) and stability.

10. Audit & Compliance

- Ensure readiness for internal, customer, and certification audits, IQA.
- Maintain zero major non-conformities.

11. Project Milestone Achievement

- Deliver all milestones (Die-Go, Trials, Pilot Runs, MP) within timeline.
- Ensure no quality-related delays in project execution.

12. Team Development

- Build and lead a competent quality team.
- Drive training, skill development, and ownership culture.
