Role & responsibilities

- Prepare the Operation Theatre before scheduled procedures.
- Arrange and check surgical instruments, OT equipment and required supplies.
- Assist surgeons, anesthetists and nursing staff during surgical procedures.
- Ensure proper sterilization and availability of surgical instruments.
- Maintain OT cleanliness, hygiene and infection-control standards.
- Check OT equipment and report any malfunction or shortage.
- Assist in shifting and positioning patients as required.
- Maintain proper records of OT procedures, instruments and consumables.
- Ensure availability of emergency and surgical supplies.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection-control guidelines and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with nursing, housekeeping and other hospital departments.
- Properly clean, disinfect and send instruments for sterilization after procedures.




- Perform other OT-related duties assigned by the senior staff or hospital management.
