Role Overview

We are looking for a Production Engineer with hands-on experience in Production / Manufacturing Unit, with a strong focus on Lean Production, Productivity and Continuous Improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage shift-wise production and achieve daily Production, Quality, Cost and Delivery targets.
- Lead and manage shop-floor manpower during the shift.
- Drive Lean Production practices to eliminate waste and improve productivity.
- Monitor OEE, productivity, cycle time, downtime and rejection.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement Kaizen, 5S and process improvements.
- Ensure effective utilization of Man, Machine, Material and Method (4M).
- Conduct problem-solving and Root Cause Analysis for production issues.
- Ensure adherence to SOP, Quality and Safety standards.
- Coordinate with Quality,



Maintenance, Planning and Stores for smooth production.
- Maintain shift reports, production data and MIS.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in Production / Manufacturing from any industry or production unit.
- Shift-working experience is essential.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, OEE and productivity improvement will be preferred.
- Auto-component / Engineering manufacturing experience will be an added advantage.

Candidate Profile

- 3-7 years' experience in Production / Manufacturing.
- Strong shift handling and shop-floor management skills.
- Good manpower handling and problem-solving ability.
- Computer savvy, with positive knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Target-oriented and comfortable working in rotational shifts.
