Role & responsibilities
- Plan and execute project activities in alignment with program objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Lead and facilitate STEM, Robotics, 3D Design, and hands-on learning activities for students, particularly Classes 69.
- Guide students in developing innovative projects and prototypes using available lab resources, tools, equipment, and technology to address real-life challenges.
- Organize and facilitate trainings, workshops, orientation sessions, and capacity-building programs for students and teachers.
- Support teachers in adopting effective, experiential, and project-based learning approaches and strengthen their capacity to conduct activities independently.
- Monitor project implementation across schools and locations through regular field visits, identify challenges, and provide timely on-ground support.
- Organize school- and cluster-level competitions, exhibitions, demonstrations, and student showcases to provide opportunities for students to present their work and ideas.
- Coordinate effectively with schools, government departments, internal teams, implementation partners, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth program delivery.
- Monitor the utilization and maintenance of lab equipment, components, materials, and other project resources, ensuring effective and appropriate use.
- Prepare, maintain,
and share accurate program documentation and all required project databases, including progress reports, field reports, attendance records, training data, beneficiary data, case studies, success stories, testimonials, and other project-related records.
- Build robust relationships with students, teachers, school leadership, alumni, parents, and community members to strengthen engagement and program outcomes.
- Manage program-related administration and logistics, including events, trainings, meetings, budgets, bills, purchase orders, work orders, and coordination with finance and procurement teams.
- Contribute to program reviews, evaluation, learning, and continuous improvement while staying open to new technologies, innovative approaches, and additional responsibilities as required.
Preferred candidate profile
- Must have a Science/Engineering background.
- Must have knowledge of Microcontrollers (Arduino UNO), Microprocessors, CNC Machines, 3D Printers, Raspberry Pi, Sensors, STEM and STEAM Education.
- Must have working knowledge of programming languages such as Embedded C, Python, and Block Coding.
- Have basic knowledge of mechanical tools and woodworking.
- Must have 2-3 years of experience in STEM education or a related field.
- Must have strong communication and presentation skills.
