About the Role

SANKHLA ENGINEERS PVT. LTD. is looking for a Purchase Officer with relevant experience in procurement for MEP, Electrical, Fire Fighting, Utility Piping and Industrial Projects.

The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, vendor development, obtaining and comparing quotations, commercial negotiation, purchase order processing, delivery follow-up and coordination with Project, Engineering, Stores and Accounts teams to ensure timely availability of materials as per project requirements.

The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of project procurement, technical materials, vendor management and commercial negotiation and should be comfortable working in a rapid-paced project environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement & Purchase

- Handle day-to-day procurement activities for ongoing MEP and industrial projects.
- Receive and review material requirements/indent from Project, Engineering and Site teams.
- Source materials from approved and new vendors as per project requirements.




- Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements and negotiate commercial terms.
- Process Purchase Orders after required approvals.
- Ensure procurement is aligned with required quality, specification, quantity, cost and delivery timelines.
