Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting and financial activities of the hospital. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, billing-related accounting, cash and bank transactions, vendor payments, reconciliations, and supporting the management in financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Handle hospital billing-related accounting and revenue records.
- Prepare and maintain cash and bank books.
- Manage daily cash collections and deposits.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Process vendor bills and maintain vendor accounts.
- Verify invoices, bills, receipts, and supporting documents.
- Prepare payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
- Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions.
- Coordinate with the billing, TPA, Ayushman, pharmacy, purchase, and administration departments for accounts-related matters.
- Monitor outstanding payments and receivables.
- Assist in salary and payroll-related accounting.
- Maintain records related to PF, ESI, TDS, GST and other statutory requirements.
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports and MIS.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documents and records.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and coordinate for timely correction.
- Ensure compliance with hospital financial policies and accounting procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information.
- Perform any other accounts-related duties assigned by management.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Knowledge of hospital/healthcare billing and accounts will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of Tally/ERP/accounting software.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidential financial records.
- Good time-management and organizational skills.
Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
- Candidates with relevant hospital accounts experience will be preferred.
Experience
- 15 years of relevant experience in Accounts.
- Experience in a hospital/healthcare organization will be an added advantage.
