Role & responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for various positions.
- Develop job descriptions and source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, agencies, and other channels.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate selection processes.
- Manage offer negotiations, documentation, and joining formalities.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future requirements.
2. Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage onboarding, induction, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exits.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Handle employee queries and provide timely HR support.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze employee turnover.
3. Payroll & Compensation
- Coordinate monthly payroll processing and ensure salary accuracy.
- Manage attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, bonuses, and deductions.
- Coordinate with finance/accounts for payroll-related requirements.
- Maintain salary and compensation records.
4. HR Policies & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Maintain employee files, registers, and HR documentation.
- Coordinate with external consultants or authorities when required.
5. Performance Management
- Manage the performance appraisal and review process.
- Establish and monitor performance management systems.
- Coordinate goal setting, performance reviews, promotions, and increments.
- Support managers in addressing performance-related concerns.
6. Employee Engagement & Relations
- Develop employee engagement initiatives and workplace activities.
- Address employee grievances and workplace concerns professionally.
- Promote a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct employee feedback and engagement activities.
7. HR Operations & MIS
- Manage HRIS and employee databases.
- Prepare HR reports and MIS related to headcount, attrition, attendance, recruitment, payroll, and other HR metrics.
- Monitor HR processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and organizational information.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Robust knowledge of HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
- Good understanding of recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Knowledge of payroll, attendance, leave, and compensation processes.
- Understanding of applicable labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and people-management abilities.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, HRIS, and HRMS platforms.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
