Role Overview

We are looking for a VDC Coordinator to own BIM/VDC coordination for complex projects, with a primary focus on Data Centers.

Coordinate Architectural, Structural, MEP, Engineering, Production, and third-party design firms from model review and clash detection through resolution and final coordinated deliverables.

Key Requirements

- 3-5 years BIM/VDC coordination experience with Data Center projects Mandatory.
- Advanced Revit & Navisworks Manage, multidisciplinary coordination, clash detection, and resolution.
- Experience coordinating third-party architects, engineers, and design consultants.
- Strong understanding of Architectural, Structural, MEP systems, drawings, BIM models, and constructability.
- Ability to manage BIM issues, coordination meetings, project deadlines, and deliverables.

Core Skills

- Revit & Navisworks Manage: Advanced modeling, model review, federation, and coordination.
- Clash Detection: Hard/soft clashes, clash rules, tolerances, prioritization, and resolution tracking.
- BIM QA/QC: Model quality checks, issue identification, revision control, and coordination records.
- VDC Planning: Coordination plans, schedules, discipline responsibilities, milestones, and review cycles.
- Third-Party Coordination: External consultant coordination, model review, comments, revisions,



and resolution verification.
- Technology: Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360 and working knowledge of Dynamo/BIM automation.

Data Center Experience

- Coordinate structural framing, MEP systems, electrical/mechanical equipment, cable trays, and major services.
- Review equipment clearances, maintenance access, penetrations, sleeves, openings, and installation requirements.
- Resolve Architectural / Structural / MEP interfaces and constructability issues before fabrication/construction.

Third-Party Design Coordination

- Review external BIM models and drawings and identify design, coordination, and constructability issues.
- Lead coordination discussions, issue comments, assign/tracking BIM issues, and manage resolution with external teams.
- Review revised models, verify clash resolution, maintain revision records, and ensure consultant deliverables meet requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain federated BIM models and project-specific VDC/BIM coordination plans.
- Establish clash rules, tolerances, priorities, coordination matrices, and review schedules.
- Lead BIM coordination meetings and manage clash detection issue tracking resolution verification.
- Perform model QA/QC and identify constructability issues before fabrication or construction.




- Coordinate BIM requirements with Engineering, Production, Automation, and Project Management.
- Support design-to-fabrication and design-to-production workflows and final coordinated model delivery.

Preferred Experience

- US Data Center projects and experience with complex multidisciplinary coordination.
- Prefabricated / Modular / Panelized construction and CFS/LGS systems.
- Revit Families & Parameters, Dynamo/BIM Automation, and Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360.
- Exposure to 4D/5D BIM, ISO 19650, and BIM standards.
