Key Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor Quality Control procedures for building construction activities.
- Inspect construction work and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct quality inspections for RCC, structural works, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Check the quality of incoming construction materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, concrete, blocks, tiles, etc.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Monitor concrete pouring, reinforcement, shuttering, and other critical construction activities.
- Ensure proper execution of cube tests, material tests, and other required quality tests.
- Maintain inspection reports, test reports, checklists, and quality records.
- Prepare and maintain ITP (Inspection & Test Plan), Method Statements, and Quality Checklists.
- Identify non-conformities and coordinate for corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor workmanship and ensure construction activities are carried out as per approved standards.
- Assist in internal and external quality audits.




- Coordinate with laboratories for material and concrete testing.
- Ensure compliance with applicable IS codes, project specifications, and safety/quality procedures.

Required Skills

- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a QC/Quality Engineer in the construction industry.
- Building construction experience is mandatory.
- Positive knowledge of RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, concrete, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Knowledge of IS codes and construction quality standards.
- Experience in preparing ITP, checklists, inspection reports, and test reports.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Excel.
- Ability to work independently at a construction project site.

Qualification

Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. Civil Engineering

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in residential buildings, commercial buildings, high-rise buildings, or large-scale building projects will be preferred.
