KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design high-quality injection moulds using Siemens NX CAD software.
Develop detailed 2D and 3D designs, including core, cavity, slides, lifters, cooling circuits, and ejection systems.
Review and modify 3D files to ensure manufacturability (Design for Manufacturability DFM).
Collaborate with internal teams and customers to analyse CAD data, identify design issues, and provide effective solutions.
Prepare mould specification sheets and design checklists.
Review all detailed drawings for dimension accuracy, tolerance stack-up, and manufacturing feasibility.
Provide design support during mould trials and validation phases.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in Tool & Die Making from NTTF, GTTC, CTTC, IGTR or equivalent institutions.
Diploma holders from CIPET in Plastic Technology or equivalent will also be considered.
35 years of experience in injection mould design, preferably for electrical components.
Solid knowledge of mould-making techniques and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in Siemens NX modeling, surfacing, assembly, and drafting.
Hands-on experience in full-cycle mould design using NX software.
