Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.
- Perform engineering calculations and analysis, including Tolerance Analysis, GD&T; and Stress Analysis.
- Take ownership of component and assembly designs from concept through development and validation.
- Prepare engineering documentation including drawings, BOMs and technical specifications.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical inputs to improve design concepts.
- Support prototype development, testing and validation activities.
- Handle failure analysis, engineering change implementation and technical issue resolution.
- Work closely with project managers to meet project timelines and deliverables.




- Coordinate with manufacturing and support teams regarding part durability, cost-effectiveness and manufacturability.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest CAD technologies, manufacturing processes and mechanical engineering practices.
- Have knowledge of prototyping and manufacturing methods such as RPT, machining, fabrication and welding.
- Apply engineering methodologies such as DFMEA, DFMA and APQP as required.
- Collaborate with R&D;, Manufacturing and Quality teams to ensure designs meet functional, manufacturing and cost requirements.
- Communicate project status effectively and escalate technical issues to relevant SMEs/Product Owners when required.
