The Platform, Startup Ecosystem & Programs team exists to do one thing: make Venture Catalysts++ the most aspirational fund in the country. The fund founders want to raise from, operators want to join or coinvest alongside, and industries want to build with. We do that not through cheques alone, but through everything around the cheque the communities, programs, partnerships, rooms, and experiences that turn a fund into an ecosystem.

You'll work within the Platform, Startup Ecosystem & Programs team.

You are the person who turns direction into reality. The Lead sets the strategy and makes the calls; you take a

mandate "build the partnership pipeline with AI labs," "make our flagship founder event one people clear

their calendar for," "get our deal-flow data into shape" and drive it to done, with real craft and ownership

over how it gets executed.

This is a builder's seat at the center of India's startup ecosystem. You won't be handed every answer you're

expected to bring ideas, spot what's missing, and raise your hand but the big strategic calls are made with

the Lead, not alone. What's unmistakably yours is the execution: the quality, the follow-through, the

relationships, and the standard of everything the platform ships.

W H AT Y O U W I L L D R I V E

Partnerships & Strategic Collaborations

Develop and manage relationships with organizations that add network and intellectual value AI labs,

accelerators, corporates and enterprises, universities, developer and operator communities, fellow VCs, and

ecosystem bodies. Build and maintain a living, well-segmented repository of potential collaborators across

these categories, keep it clean and current, and run proactive outreach so the right relationship already exists

before there is a specific ask. Bring options and recommendations to the Lead, and once a direction is set,

design and drive the joint initiatives that founders and portfolios actually find useful. Track what each

relationship is returning and surface what's working and what isn't so the calls on where to lean in or step

back get made with the full picture.

Programs & Founder Experiences





Design and run founder-focused programs, curated dinners, roundtables, masterclasses, and our marquee

event pipeline. Shape the format, guest list, and agenda together with the Lead, then own flawless execution

you're the reason the room feels considered and founders leave already wanting the next one. A session

for early-stage technical founders should look nothing like a room of growth-stage operators, and you'll bring

that craft to every format. Capture what worked and turn it into a repeatable playbook the whole team gets

better with.

Sourcing & Deal-Flow Data Management

Own the hygiene and quality of our sourcing and deal-flow data the connective tissue that turns every

event, conversation, and platform touchpoint into structured, usable signal. Capture leads from platform

activity and events, tag them cleanly by sector, source, and stage, keep the pipeline accurate and current, and

surface it so the investment team and the Lead can move quickly. You make sure nothing falls through the

cracks and that the people making the investment calls always have a clean, reliable view to work from.

Ecosystem Intelligence & Data

Build a genuine point of view on where the Indian startup market is moving sectors heating up, theses

emerging, who's building what. Run regular surveys across founders, portfolio operators, and the wider

community to track sentiment, surface needs, and measure whether our programs are actually landing. Keep

a transparent read on the competitive landscape what other funds, platforms, and accelerators are doing on

programs, partnerships, and positioning so we stay sharp and differentiated. Run the analysis behind the

team's decisions and turn it into crisp briefs the Lead and leadership can act on, not dashboards no one

reads.

Brand, GTM & Ecosystem Growth





Drive how the fund shows up to founders and operators day to day content, collaborations, partner comarketing,

and stakeholder engagement within the brand direction set with the Lead. Identify the events

worth being at across the ecosystem, show up to represent VC++, and bring back the network, signal, and

leads that come from being in the room. Work cross-functionally with investment, portfolio, and marketing so

the platform's work compounds into reputation.

Close to the Thesis

Stay close to the fund's investment focus so everything the platform does the rooms, the outreach, the

programs, the collaborators you pursue reflects the priorities the Lead and leadership set. When platform

activity surfaces something the investment team should see, you're the bridge that gets it in front of the right

people.

Why this seat. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with the Lead and the investment team at the center of India's

startup ecosystem — close to the founders, operators, and partners shaping what gets built next. It's a rare

vantage point, and for someone who executes with craft and judgement, it's a runway to grow into owning

your own mandate.

If building ecosystems, brands, communities, and founder experiences is the work you want to do reach out.

2–3 years in community, partnerships, brand, ecosystem, founder relations, startup programs, events, or a

related externally-facing role. Time inside a startup, accelerator, or VC is a strong plus.

A track record of driving things from plan to shipped you own the execution and the outcome, not just

the to-do list.

Genuine fluency in the Indian startup ecosystem you know the players, the dynamics, and what founders

actually value.

Sharp written communication: crisp partnership notes, clean program briefs, follow-ups that get replies.

Comfort with ambiguity and a bias to action. You manage multiple workstreams without dropping balls,

close every loop, and don't need chasing.

Warm and easy to build trust with — founders, operators, and partners should want to take your call.

Resourceful and execution-focused, with the judgement to bring the right ideas forward and the maturity
