About Us
We are surrounded by the world's leading consumer companies led by technology - Amazon for retail, Airbnb for hospitality, Uber for mobility, Netflix and Spotify for entertainment, etc. Food & Beverage is the only consumer sector where large players are still traditional restaurant companies.
At Rebel Foods, we are challenging this status quo as we are building the world's most valuable restaurant company on the internet, superfast. The prospect for us is immense due to the exponential growth in the food delivery business worldwide which has helped us build 'The World's Largest Internet Restaurant Company' in the last few years.
Rebel Foods' current presence in India & UAE with close to 50 brands and 4500+ internet restaurants has been built on The Rebel Operating System.
While for us it is still Day 1, we know we are in the middle of a revolution towards creating never seen before customer-first experiences. We bring you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to disrupt the 500-year-old industry with technology at its core. We urge you to refer to the below to understand how we are changing the restaurant industry before applying at Rebel Foods.

About EatSure
EatSure is Rebel's own consumer platform. It exists because "who cooked your food, and what happened to it on the way to you" stopped being an acceptable blind spot. The safety tags on aggregator apps are gimmicks, since the same badge sits on the shady kitchen and the excellent one. EatSure instead stands for assured goodness across the 4Ps: Product (no chemicals, flavours or preservatives), People (a healthy, trained chef cooking your dish), Processes (actually HACCP certified, not merely claiming to be best in industry) and Packaging (nobody fiddling with your food between the kitchen and your door).
What makes that possible is that we don't only control the food. We control the logistics too. Farm to fork, in the truest sense. On EatSure a customer can see where ingredients were sourced, watch the food being prepared, and shape the delivery experience itself, because every link in that chain is ours. Powered by the Rebel Operating System, the platform can launch rare, exclusive concepts across hundreds of kitchen locations and dozens of cities in no time.
This is also why the Delivery Experience charter exists. Most restaurant companies never have to solve last-mile logistics. The aggregator does it for them, and their promise to the customer effectively ends at the kitchen door. A majority of the orders our delivery organisation handles come through EatSure, which means we own the fleet, the allocation, the rider earnings and the delivery promise ourselves. When a delivery goes wrong on EatSure, there is no third party to point at. That is the problem this role is hired to work on.

The Role
We want to build the DEX products in a more focused and dedicated way than we manage today. You will not only be responsible for building products. You will be responsible for those products delivering results.
As an Associate Product Manager on DEX, you will own four defined areas of the charter outright, with the freedom to define the problem and the obligation to defend the number afterwards. You will work closely with Central Operations, City Ops, Finance, Engineering, Data and our 3PL partners, and you will report into the Product lead for the DEX charter.
What you will own
1. Rider App & Rollouts
Own rider-facing features and how they are released defining staged rollouts by city, fleet type and app version, along with release and rollback decisions.
2. Rider Payouts
Own per-order payouts, incentives, surges and exceptions such as cancellations, long waits, failed deliveries and disputes ensuring policy and product logic always match.
3. Last-Mile Customer Experience
Own the metrics and product levers that determine delivery quality:
PDT Compliance: Diagnose and reduce the gap between promised and actual delivery time.
Rack Time: Reduce the time food waits between being ready and leaving the kitchen.
Rider Andon: Measure and reduce delays caused by rider unavailability.
4. Rider Availability & Acquisition
Forecast rider requirements by kitchen, slot and city, close supply gaps, and build levers that make riding with Rebel the preferred choice.
What you will get to do here
- Turn ambiguous operational problems into root causes, clear product requirements and shipped solutions. Write robust BRDs/PRDs covering edge cases and failure modes, run staged pilots with clear success and rollback criteria, and instrument products so you know the baseline and impact.
- Youll also partner with Ops and Finance on payout and incentive decisions that directly impact the P&L;, and work with 3PL partners across integrations, SLAs and operational constraints.
And you will also be doing what an APM actually does
- Pushing the designer for the nth iteration
- Debating with a developer on why the feature is important
- Irritating the QA SPOC to get the bug solved and checked
- Befriending DevOps for timely deployments
- Saying no to requirements from business, or rather from anyone, which negatively impact the rider or customer experience
- Explaining to a city ops manager, on a Sunday, why the payout logic did what it did
Preferred Experience and Attributes
Were looking for someone with 13 years of experience across Product Management, Product Analytics, Operations, Strategy or Engineering — ideally in logistics, marketplaces, gig platforms, quick commerce, mobility or supply chain.
Experience shipping software is a plus, but we’re equally open to strong analytical operators who have built tools, solved complex problems and written clear specifications.
Above all,
you should bring first-principles thinking, a growth mindset and strong ownership.
Other attributes we strongly prefer
- Analytical rigour: Go beyond what moved to understand why. Break down metrics such as cost per order or delivery time into their underlying drivers. Working knowledge of SQL is strongly preferred — or the willingness to learn it quickly.
- Systems thinking: Understand how decisions connect across the DEX ecosystem — from rider supply and allocation to rack time, payouts, rider behaviour and customer experience. Always ask, “What breaks downstream?”
- Comfort with ambiguity & the field: Not every answer sits in a dashboard. Sometimes the truth is at a kitchen at 8:45 PM on a Friday.
- Clear communication: Be equally comfortable presenting a quarterly roadmap and writing a precise JIRA ticket that Engineering and QA can execute without ambiguity.
- Judgement on money & trust: Rider earnings are someone’s income. Every payout decision must be accurate, explainable and defensible.
We’re looking for someone who can find the problem, understand the system, make the call and own the outcome.
The Charter: Delivery Experience (DEX)
Every EatSure order ends the same way. A rider picks it up from one of our kitchens and hands it to a customer. DEX owns that last leg end to end.
That means we own both sides of a two-sided problem. On one side sits the customer, who wants a delivery that is fast, predictable, accurately tracked, and that doesn't fall apart when something goes wrong. On the other sits the rider. We are responsible for a fleet of thousands of delivery partners, some ours and some sourced through 3PL partners, including their supply, their allocation, their earnings, their safety and their day-to-day experience in the app.
The charter covers:
- Rider supply. Projecting how many rider hours each kitchen needs, by slot and by city, and closing the gap between projected and actual supply.
- Allocation. The logic that decides which rider gets which order, balancing delivery time, batching efficiency, fairness in rider earnings, and cost per order.
- Earnings and payouts. The surge and incentive engine, per-order payout rules, and the exception cases where policy and code have to agree exactly.
- 3PL integrations. The integration layer through which third-party fleet partners plug into our allocation, tracking and settlement systems.
- Rider-facing systems. The rider app: order flow, navigation, earnings visibility, scorecards, cash handling, onboarding and safety.
- Cash and settlement. Reducing cash-in-transit exposure and moving the network toward digital settlement.
How we work
Product plays a central role in shaping Rebel's business. Our leaders have the autonomy to make consequential decisions, challenge conventional thinking and build products end-to-end. In return, we expect deep ownership. You'll be accountable for outcomes, not outputs; thinking like a business builder, obsessing over customer experience, and continuously raising the bar for product quality. If you're excited by high ownership, ambitious product problems and the opportunity to shape how millions of customers discover and order food, we'd love to talk. Learn more about Rebel -
