Controls, monitors, and optimizes primary plant systems (BTG) from the CCR via DCS consoles, maintaining protected generation and efficiency.

Key responsibilities:
- Operate BTG via DCS during startup, sync, normal operation, and shutdown.
- Control boiler parameters main steam pressure, drum level, steam temperatures.
- Direct field operators via radio for valve lineups and leak checks.
- Monitor turbine parameters vibration, expansion, condenser vacuum, lube oil.
- Synchronize the generator, adjusting frequency, excitation, and MW/MVAR output.
- Respond to process upsets (pump/fan trip, load rejection) to keep the plant online.

Technical skills: Thermodynamic cycles, DCS systems, combustion control, grid sync methods.

Education: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation; BOE Certificate desirable.

Experience: 3-8 years operational, incl. 2+ years as DCS console operator.

Qualification: Diploma (Mech) / BE / NPTI / ITI
