Role & responsibilities

- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates and rate analyses.
- Review architectural, structural and MEP drawings for scope and quantity accuracy.
- Obtain and compare quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
- Prepare project budgets and monitor estimated versus actual costs.
- Identify variations, cost escalations and potential savings.
- Coordinate with design, procurement and project execution teams.
- Maintain estimation records, rate databases and supporting documents.

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 25 years of experience in estimation and quantity surveying.
- Robust knowledge of construction materials, methods and market rates.
- Proficient in Excel, AutoCAD and BOQ preparation.
- Good analytical, numerical and communication skills.
- Experience in residential or commercial construction projects is preferred.
