1. KEY PERFORMANCE AREA OF THE POSITION:
RF System Design & Development
- Design, develop, and validate RF circuits, modules, and subsystems for defense applications.
- Innovate recent hardware solutions for RADAR, jammer, and communication systems.
- Testing & Validation
- Conduct laboratory and field testing of RF, RADAR, and jammer systems.
- Perform simulations and modeling to predict system performance and optimize designs.
- Ensure compliance with defense standards and regulatory requirements.
Field Trials & Deployment
- Plan, execute, and document field trials for RF and electronic warfare systems.
- Troubleshoot and optimize performance during live trials in tactical environments.
` Simulation & Analysis
- Develop and run simulations for RADAR signatures, jammer effectiveness, and RF propagation.
- Analyze test data to provide actionable insights for system improvements.
Hardware Development & Integration
- Create prototypes and production-ready hardware for RF and RADAR systems.
- Integrate subsystems into larger platforms (e.g., military vehicles, communication networks).
2. Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Master’s degree in RF/Microwave Engineering, Signal Processing, or Defense Electronics (preferred).
Domain Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of RF propagation, antenna design, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
- Exposure to RADAR systems, jamming techniques, and electronic countermeasure technologies.
- Familiarity with defense communication protocols and tactical deployment scenarios.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability (DFM) principles.
