Design and layout multi-layer PCBs using industry-standard EDA tools (Altium Designer, KiCad,Orcad or Cadence Allegro)
Develop schematics from system requirements and circuit specifications
Perform signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal analysis during layout
Ensure designs comply with IPC design standards
Manage component libraries, footprints, and 3D models
Generate and release manufacturing outputs: Gerbers, drill files, BOM, assembly drawings
Liaise with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors (PCBA) on DFM/DFA queries
Support bring-up, debugging, and design verification of prototype boards
Perform design reviews and maintain design documentation under version control
Work with firmware and mechanical teams to resolve integration issuesProvide technical guidance in developing recent PCB designs and updating existing designs. Proficiency in tools like OrCAD Develop PCB layouts, perform component placements and determine wire routings. Working with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance with industry standards. Verify existing designs and recommend improvements.
