Role & responsibilities

Machine Operator :

- Operate roofing sheet production and forming machines safely and efficiently.
- Set up machines according to production requirements and specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and production output.
- Check finished roofing sheets for dimensions, quality, and defects.
- Maintain consistent production quality and minimize material wastage.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and report machine issues to the maintenance team.
- Carry out routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic machine maintenance.
- Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets.
- Maintain proper records of production, material usage, and machine issues.
- Follow all company health, safety, and housekeeping procedures.
- Coordinate with the production supervisor and other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Site Supervisor:

- Supervise daily roofing installation and site activities.
- Allocate work to workers and subcontractors and monitor their performance.
- Ensure roofing work is completed according to drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Monitor daily progress and ensure project schedules are maintained.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients at the site.
- Check measurements, material requirements,



and installation quality.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of roofing materials.
- Monitor manpower, tools, machinery, and equipment at the site.
- Identify and resolve day-to-day site issues and report major issues to management.
- Conduct regular quality checks and ensure work meets company standards.
- Enforce site safety rules and ensure workers use appropriate PPE.
- Prepare daily site reports covering manpower, progress, materials, and issues.
- Coordinate material deliveries and ensure materials are available when required.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain an organized worksite.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, preferably in roofing, construction, steel structures, or industrial projects.
- Good knowledge of roofing installation and construction site practices.
- Ability to read and understand drawings, measurements, and specifications.
- Strong manpower and subcontractor management skills.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
