Position Overview

As the Financial Controller, you will oversee the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of Jeeblys financial ecosystem across multiple entities and geographies. You will lead the multi-country consolidation process, reinforce internal controls, accelerate process automation, and partner with leadership to safeguard assets while enabling rapid scale

Key Responsibilities

- Own the month-end process from start to finish—preparing and overseeing financial statements, producing monthly management accounts, and ensuring absolute accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Run the day-to-day accounting operations. Manage, coach, and develop the team, stepping directly into the details to keep everything moving.
- Take full accountability for treasury, cash flow, AP, and AR. Monitor cash positions tightly and flag risks before they hit the business.
- Drive flawless compliance across FTA, VAT, corporate tax, and statutory financial audits. Keep the division completely clean and audit-ready.
- Build and enforce robust internal controls,



policies, and checks and balances that safeguard assets as the company scales. Manage the external audit relationship end to-end, handling queries and owning the process from initial planning to final sign-off.
- Continuously optimize accounting procedures and systems. If a workflow is broken or missing, take initiative, accelerate automation, and fix it.
- Shape vendor strategy, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate aggressive terms to secure the best commercial outcomes.

Requirements

- 8+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior managerial role.
- Proven experience working in a logistics, high-growth tech startup, marketplace, fintech, or proptech environment is highly preferred.
- Essential experience navigating multi-entity regional corporate structures with direct, hands-on experience managing complex financial consolidations.
- Strong working knowledge of multi-country regional taxation, corporate tax, and statutory compliance across the GCC.
- Master's degree in Finance or Accounting. Professional accounting designation is required (CA, ACCA, ACA).
- Mastery of international accounting standards (IFRS). Advanced proficiency in modern cloud-based ERP systems and data analysis tools.
