Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled SAP Technical Consultant with strong expertise in SAP BW (BW on HANA / BW4HANA), Native HANA development, and S/4HANA CDS Views to support enterprise-wide analytics, reporting, and data integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of progressive SAP experience with hands-on exposure to data modeling, performance optimization, and cross-functional collaboration in modern SAP data landscapes.

Core Responsibilities

Technical Development & Implementation

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and end-users to analyze requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Design, develop, and implement technical solutions across SAP BW, Native HANA, and S/4HANA CDS Views
- Support migration and upgrade activities from legacy systems while maintaining data consistency, quality, and integrity
- Participate in technical workshops with business users to gather requirements and contribute to SAP solution design

SAP BW Development & Data Modeling

- Design and develop SAP BW/BW4HANA data models using InfoObjects, Advanced DSOs, CompositeProviders, and Open ODS Views
- Build and maintain transformations, DTPs, and process chains for efficient data loading and delta management




- Develop and optimize BEx queries and analytical reports to support operational and management reporting needs
- Implement extraction using standard and custom ODP-based data sources, including SAP ERP/S4HANA extractors
- Apply LSA++ modeling principles to design layered, scalable, and maintainable BW data architectures

S/4HANA CDS Views Development

- Design and develop ABAP CDS (Core Data Services) views and entities with associations, annotations, and calculations
- Implement data models using ABAP CDS views for operational reporting, embedded analytics, and real-time insights
- Create and enhance customer-specific CDS views and analytical queries to meet business requirements
- Optimize existing CDS views for improved performance and data modeling efficiency
- Develop solutions using SAP BTP/BAS and S/4HANA Private Cloud/On-premise environments
- Integrate CDS views with Fiori applications and other analytics platforms

Native HANA Development & Performance Optimization

- Design and develop Native HANA solutions (HANA 1.0 and HANA 2.0 XSA) using Calculation Views, Attribute Views, and Analytic Views
- Create SQL script solutions, stored procedures, and mixed modeling scenarios for analytics use cases
- Support BWoH and BW4HANA modeling activities, including Advanced DSOs, CompositeProviders, and ODP extractors
- Perform optimization and troubleshooting of Calculation Views and SQL queries using standard performance tuning techniques
- Assist with ABAP to HANA SQL conversions and AMDP script implementations




- Support HANA security models, transport management, and lifecycle management activities

SAP Functional Knowledge

- Good understanding of core S/4HANA/ECC modules including SD, MM, FI/CO, HR, WM, PP, and supply chain processes
- Basic knowledge of master data management and data governance practices

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, IT, or related field, with a University degree (Master/Diploma/PhD) in IT, and strong independent, team-oriented, and accountable work ethic.
- 3-8 years of SAP development experience, focusing on SAP BW, Native HANA, and S/4HANA CDS Views
- Hands-on experience in at least one full-cycle SAP BW/BW4HANA implementation
- Working knowledge of ABAP CDS view development and Native HANA modeling
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently as well as in a team
