About the Role

We are looking for a technically strong R&D; / NPD Engineer – Power Electronics for our Punjab location. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end product development, engineering validation, testing, troubleshooting, and production transfer of UPS, inverter, and lithium battery-based power electronics products.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept to production.
- Develop and improve UPS, inverter, and lithium battery-based power electronics systems.
- Work on power circuit design, inverter architecture, DC-DC/DC-AC converters, switching devices, and control systems.
- Integrate and validate Lithium Battery, BMS, and Energy Storage systems with power electronics products.
- Carry out design calculations, component selection, prototype development, testing, and validation.
- Conduct hardware testing and resolve issues related to performance, reliability, thermal management, and system functionality.
- Perform failure analysis and implement design modifications for product improvement.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, PCB, Embedded, Mechanical, Testing, and Supply Chain teams for smooth NPD execution.
- Support engineering validation, pilot production,



product qualification, and production transfer.
- Prepare and maintain BOMs, specifications, test procedures, validation reports, and technical documentation.
- Support field-failure analysis and provide technical solutions for product improvement.
- Drive cost optimization, quality improvement, reliability enhancement, and product standardization.
- Ensure developed products meet required technical, safety, quality, and performance requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 7–12 years of relevant experience in Power Electronics R&D; / NPD.
- Strong hands-on experience in UPS, Inverter, Power Electronics, or related products.
- Experience with Lithium Battery, BMS, ESS/BESS, or Energy Storage will be highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of power electronics circuits, inverter topologies, converters, power semiconductor devices, and control systems.
- Proven experience in end-to-end NPD and product validation.
- Strong troubleshooting and failure-analysis capabilities.
- Experience working closely with manufacturing and production teams will be an advantage.
- Robust technical documentation and project-management skills.
- Candidates who can independently take ownership of R&D; projects will be preferred.

Compensation

12 LPA – 20 LPA

Salary will be finalized based on experience, technical expertise, relevant industry exposure, and performance.
