The Role

We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our IT team as a Jr. Desktop Support Engineer. The Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users, ensuring that all desktop systems, hardware, software, and peripheral devices function efficiently.

The Responsibilities

- Provide Technical Support: Assist in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and other devices.
- Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware peripherals.
- User Assistance: Respond to user inquiries and provide support via phone, email, or in-person to resolve technical issues promptly.
- System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks, including system updates, backups, and patch management.
- Documentation:



Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and hardware/software inventories.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest technology trends, software updates, and industry best practices.

The Desired Attributes

- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Fresher
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge in Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications.
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Familiarity with network concepts and troubleshooting
- Understanding of Active Directory.

- Soft Skills:

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer-oriented approach with a focus on delivering high-quality support

Working Conditions

- Office environment with occasional requirements for on-site support.
