About the Role

We are looking for an experienced R&D; / NPD Engineer – Power Electronics to join our team in Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for the development and improvement of UPS, inverter, and lithium battery-based power electronics products, with a solid focus on product innovation, technical problem-solving, and new product development.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive R&D; and New Product Development (NPD) activities for UPS and inverter products.
- Design and develop power electronics circuits, power stages, and control systems.
- Work on DC-DC and DC-AC conversion, inverter topologies, switching devices, and power stages.
- Develop products for Lithium Battery / BMS / Energy Storage applications.
- Handle the complete product development cycle from concept, design, prototype, testing, validation, and product release.
- Perform design calculations, component selection, simulation, prototype development, and technical evaluation.
- Conduct product testing, troubleshooting, failure analysis, and design optimization.




- Identify design issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Work closely with Embedded, PCB, Mechanical, Testing, Quality, and Production teams.
- Prepare technical documents including BOM, specifications, test reports, design documents, and validation reports.
- Support product certification, reliability testing, and engineering validation activities.
- Drive product performance improvement, cost optimization, and reliability enhancement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 7–12 years of experience in Power Electronics R&D; / NPD.
- Strong experience in UPS, Inverter, or Power Conversion products.
- Hands-on experience in power electronics hardware development.
- Experience with Lithium Battery / BMS / ESS will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of power semiconductor devices, converters, inverter topologies, control systems, and power stages.
- Experience in prototype development, testing, troubleshooting, and validation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently handle R&D;/NPD projects from concept to production.

Compensation

12 LPA – 20 LPA

Salary will be finalized based on experience, technical expertise, relevant industry exposure, and performance.
