Were Hiring: Business Development & Lighting Design Professional

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development & Lighting Design professional with experience in the lighting industry to drive project specifications, build strong industry relationships, and contribute to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

70% Business Development

- Build and strengthen relationships with Architects, Lighting Consultants, Contractors, and EPCs to drive project specifications.
- Identify and develop current project opportunities while achieving assigned business targets.
- Engage with key influencers and create demand through brand and product specifications.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate lighting solutions.
- Prepare and support BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and coordinate with internal teams for seamless project execution.
- Promote the role of lighting in enhancing spaces, experiences, aesthetics, and functionalitynot just illumination.

30% Lighting Design

- Develop lighting layouts, calculations, and design solutions based on project requirements.
- Prepare lighting simulations using AutoCAD, DIALux, and/or Relux.
- Support luminaire selection,



technical documentation, and project coordination.
- Interpret lighting layouts and provide design inputs aligned with project requirements.

Candidate Profile

- Experience in Business Development, Specification Sales, or Project Sales, preferably within the lighting industry.
- Strong network and relationship-building skills with Architects, Consultants, Contractors, and EPCs.
- Good understanding of lighting applications, solutions, and industry practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and working knowledge of DIALux and/or Relux.
- Ability to prepare BOQs and interpret lighting drawings/layouts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings, site visits, and project engagements.
