About the Role

We are seeking an innovative Engineer of New Product Development (NPD) to lead the

charge in identifying market needs, bridging technology gaps, and bringing cutting-edge

environmental solutions to life.

In this role, you will own the entire product-development lifecycle—from technology

scouting and cost refinement to pilot validation and commercialization. By combining your

strong process knowledge with commercial awareness, you will translate market

requirements into technically and financially viable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Market & Technology Strategy

• Partner with Sales & Marketing to identify emerging customer requirements, unmet

needs, and technology gaps.

• Scout domestic and international markets for relevant technologies, equipment, import

substitutes, and process innovations for ETP, STP, and WTP applications.

Product Innovation & Lifecycle Management

• Translate market requirements into concrete product concepts and technical

specifications.

• Plan and execute laboratory, pilot-scale, and field trials for new products and

technologies.

• Continuously review existing solutions to drive performance improvements, design

simplification, and cost reduction.





• Assess cost-economic perks to ensure strong competitiveness against alternative

products.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Commercialization

• Coordinate seamlessly across Engineering, Procurement, Projects, and Operations

teams throughout the development cycle.

• Support the launch and strategic positioning of new products alongside the Sales &

Marketing team.

• Engage in pre- and post-sales activities, including technical presentations, customer

meetings, tendering, and technical clarifications.

Technical Expertise Required

• In-depth knowledge of Primary Settling (especially Tube Settlers) and High-Rate Solids

Contact Clarifiers.

• Strong grasp of biological treatment processes: ASP, SAFF, SBR, and MBBR.

• Expertise in Tertiary Filtration, UV Disinfection, and Sludge Dewatering systems.

• Ability to read equipment drawings and understand the core working principles of

major treatment equipment.

Qualifications & Core Skills

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical

Engineering.

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a practical, hands-on approach to

engineering challenges.

• Commercial Acumen: Ability to evaluate technologies from both technical and

commercial standpoints.

• Communication: Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and technical report-writing

skills.

• Independence: Self-driven professional capable of independent work while effectively

coordinating cross-functional teams.
