Job Title: Logistics Procurement Specialist

Role Introduction & Summary:

- The role is responsible for logistics procurement in India. Responsibilities include endtoend value delivery across cost savings, cash improvement, supply assurance, service performance, and supplierled innovation.
- The role works closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and regional/global category teams to ensure that global strategies are aligned with India business priorities. A key accountability is influencing major supply decisions including sourcing choices, network design for depots and transportationto optimize cost, service, and longterm reliability.
- The position ensures full compliance with procurement policies, standards, and operational controls across all managed categories, while building a resilient and futureready supplier ecosystem for the business.

Responsibilities:

1. Sourcing for logistics category

- Deliver key procurement objectives including gross productivity savings, working capital optimization, DPO improvement, and total cost reduction.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business priorities and operational requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive industry assessments, cost modelling, and market analysis to make informed strategic decisions.
- Drive endtoend sourcing strategy execution through RFPs, RFQs, negotiations, and other sourcing interventions.

2. Supplier Relationship Management

- Lead the supplier selection process, to build an efficient and resilient supply base.




- Develop and maintain supplier segmentation and classification to optimize engagement models.
- Oversee supplier performance monitoring, scorecarding, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Establish and run a structured supplier relationship frameworkincluding quarterly business reviews (QBRs), joint business planning, and longterm capability development.

3. Supply Assurance

- Ensure uninterrupted supply for ongoing business operations in alignment with longterm demand forecasts.
- Secure material readiness and connectivity for current product introductions and change management initiatives.
- Drive supplier-led innovation by bringing outsidein insights, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.

4. Contract Management

- Lead development, structuring, and negotiation of contracts in collaboration with Legal and crossfunctional partners.
- Ensure contracts capture all commercial, operational, and compliance requirements effectively.

5. Compliance & Governance

- Execute all procurement processes in strict adherence to company policies, controls, and ethical standards.
- Maintain audit readiness for all categories and spend under management, ensuring compliance across sourcing, contracting, and supplier engagement processes.
- Drive visibility, transparency, and governance through robust documentation and reporting practices

Qualifications & Skills:

Required:

- MBA preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in Logistics and Warehousing Procurement within the Manufacturing, FMCG, Consumer Goods, Pharma, or similar industries.
- Experience in WMS, transportation tools
- Good leadership and influencing skills, working with multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication in English
- System knowledge (SAP/Coupa/PowerBI)
