Area Manager Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead, guide and motivate a team of Medical Representatives (MRs).
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets through the team.
- Conduct joint field work with MRs and coach them on doctor calls and product detailing.
- Plan and monitor doctor coverage, tour plans and field activities.
- Build relationships with doctors, hospitals, chemists and stockists.
- Review MR performance, sales reports and territory growth.
- Identify new business opportunities and improve weak territories.
- Monitor competitor activities and market feedback.
- Ensure product availability and proper distributor/stockist coordination.
- Train recent MRs and ensure discipline, reporting and company policy compliance

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- 38 years of Pharma Sales experience with First-Line Manager / Area Manager exDivision: Ortho / Respi
- - Candidate Requirements:
- * Minimum 2 years experience as a First-Line Manager




- * Must have team-handling experience of Medical Representatives (MRs)
- * Pharma sales/management experience preferred
- * Age: Below 36 Years
- - CTC: Up to 8.5 LPA

- * Strong experience in handling large VOB & teams
- * Candidates from outside the Top 30 may also be considered if they have stable experience and meet the other expectations.
